Scholarships

Ticket to Rose Scholarship

Ticket to Rose is a gap funding scholarship sponsored by Rose State College utilizing local funding from the citizens in our immediate service area. Eligible students should graduate from one of the following: Carl Albert High School, Choctaw High School, Del City High School, Midwest City High School, or Star Spencer High School. Ticket to Rose is also available to private, alternative, virtual, and home school graduates whose custodial parent’s residence is located within the officially defined borders of the aforementioned school districts.  Only graduates of a private, alternative, virtual, or home school are required to provide proof of residency, such as utility bill in the name of the custodial parent.

Ticket to Rose offers assistance when other scholarships and forms of federal or state financial aid (excluding loans) do not cover the cost of tuition and fees. Ticket to Rose does not provide funding for textbooks, housing, housing fees, or non-resident tuition. The need for assistance through the Ticket to Rose program is determined by the student’s Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). If the student receives assistance from a free source of aid, such as a Federal Pell Grant or Oklahoma Promise, the amount paid by the Ticket to Rose program may be reduced or eliminated.
